Description: Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a highly qualified associate to join our nationally recognized healthcare practice in our Albany office.

Ideal candidates will have no more than 1-3 years of experience (preferably in the healthcare area), a strong interest in healthcare law, and a demonstrated connection with the Capital Region of New York State. Will also look at candidates with general experience who have a strong interest in healthcare.


Our lawyers provide advice on complex regulatory and compliance issues, assist with the structuring and negotiation of transactions, represent clients in government audits and investigations, implement a variety of contractual arrangements, and counsel clients on the full range of legal issues affecting the healthcare industry. Our lawyers in Albany have a particular focus on New York law and regulation, including legislation.


We serve a diverse group of clients that includes hospitals, community health centers, managed care plans and insurers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy chains, nursing homes, regional health information organizations and a variety of healthcare industry vendors.

Requirements:

• Excellent academic credentials, and strong writing and communications skills
