Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate to join the Emerging Companies + Venture Capital practice group in the Palo Alto office.

• The ideal candidate will be a high performer with 4 - 6 years of significant experience in corporate work, with at least two years specifically working with emerging companies, including:
  • incorporating and organizing them; creating their corporate infrastructure; supporting their growth through employee and consultant hires; helping them raise seed capital / angel capital / venture capital through convertible note financings or preferred stock financings; helping them expand their business through licensing transactions and nondisclosure / confidentiality agreements.
• The ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form is required.
• A strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions will add to your success on our team.
